Sometimes people ask me if all properties need staging.  Not necessarily, is my answer.  For example, properties sold between family members, those sold “as is,” and properties within a very hot location or market probably don’t need home staging.  For the rest of the properties, staging would definitely help sell quicker and for more money.

Before

Before

This house was first listed last June.  Although nicely re-done, there wasn’t anything to distract the buyer’s eye from the small imperfections that every house has. It is difficult for people to visualize how to utilize a space when it is vacant.

After

After

Premiere Home Stagers brought in furniture and accessories specifically for this style of house.  Nothing too modern or bold colors.  This house is a classic and should be dressed that way.

A sunny spot next to the window is perfect to tend to daily tasks or do a little computer work.

Dining Area

Dining Area

The dining area is conveniently located right outside the kitchen and living room, yet doesn’t impede either space.

Living Room

Living Room

The living room is a step up from the dining room and can be closed off with French doors.  This room could conceivably be a master bedroom because it contains two closets and a powder room to the right.

Master Bedroom

Master Bedroom

This upstairs master bedroom has two closets and is spacious enough for a king-sized bed.  A queen-size is shown here.  Another bedroom and full bath are also located on this floor.
