Staging a condo is a little different than staging a house.

It’s more important to know your demographic when staging condos.  In this case, the demographic suggested a young professional male. Therefore, Premiere Home Stagers wanted to appeal to the masculine side, while still placing some softness into it.  The scale of furniture used in staging a condo should be smaller so the space appears larger.

There are tones of browns and blacks, fewer pillows, gray tweed in the ottomans, and less foliage.

The pictures on the wall and the chair pillows keep that brown and gray scheme. The desk accessories include a duck decoy.

In a masculine master bedroom, there are fewer pillows on the brown and black comforter, and a smaller dresser.

Even the master bathroom has accessories in a grey and tan color scheme.

This condo is now ready for its next occupant.  Even though the demographic suggests a male occupant, good staging should be neutral enough for both genders to “feel at home.”  While the furniture should be mostly neutral, the accessories can be down-played, be colorful, or even be bold, depending upon your demographic.
