The homeowners purchased this house recently, but due to life changes, they needed to sell it immediately.  They could look past the previous owner’s traditional furnishings when they considered buying it, but wondered if the next buyers would be able to visualize the size and scale of each room if it was vacant.

The living room is painted plum and a large custom-made area rug is also plum.  The color looks nice and is considered “a neutral” because this shade has some brown in it.  However, people might wonder how their furniture might look in a plum room—or, where their furniture should be positioned.

Premiere Home Stagers was called in on the recommendation of the realtor–a very wise realtor, indeed!

A tweed sofa with two orange-ish easy chairs complement the plum color beautifully. The artwork above the fireplace coordinates with the wall color, trim, and fireplace tile.  A little metallic in the artwork bounces the light around.

The house was built for a discriminating buyer and it shows.  The room sizes are ample and every room has a specific purpose.  There are LOTS of closets, storage areas, and built-ins.

This area is adjacent to the kitchen where a large formal dining table is positioned under a gorgeous chandelier. The buffet cabinetry holds all the formal dishes and the built-in cupboard can hold table linens and libations.

Premiere Home Stagers does not think this house will be on the market for very long.  Staging is certainly appreciated in most houses, but this house goes upscale when staged with the correct style furniture and accessories.
