When staging an occupied property, the stager uses the furniture and furnishings of the homeowner.  When items are missing or outdated, the stager requests the homeowner either borrow or purchase items that will help a prospective buyer visualize themselves in the property.

The homeowners did such a good job de-cluttering that the condo lacked warmth. Premiere Home Stagers suggested the owners add some color, texture, and softness to their spaces. But, what exactly does that mean?

The colorful canvas was re-positioned from the living room onto the dining room for color.  The table runner and decorative bowl add some texture.  The corner vase and the plant add the softness.

One comment was the living room looked too small. A too-large piece of furniture pushed against the back wall, is not using the space as efficiently as possible.

Angling a sofa, then adding accessories, makes the space more efficient, warm, and inviting.

Even though we love our Wisconsin Badgers, the red color was too intense for the main bathroom.  Plus, perhaps the next buyer is from out-of-state or went to a different college.

The bathroom now looks more sophisticated and upscale with the blue color complementing the black countertop.

The homeowners can now say they have done everything possible to position themselves to sell this condo.  Premiere Home Stagers thinks this condo will sell before one of the other units in the same building.  We’ll be counting the days on the market until it’s sold!
