There aren’t any furniture rental places in Madison, WI for home stagers. Over the years, I built up my inventory from many different places, choosing just the right furniture and accessories for each home, mixing and matching to get different looks.
I recently discovered a new store called At Home in the Milwaukee area. This store in Greenfield just opened a month ago. There is another At Home store in Wauwautosa, WI. You can find all kinds of home furnishings here at reasonable prices.
I had an appointment with an apartment complex rental agent who needed photos taken of one of their apartments for marketing purposes. She specifically asked for contemporary furniture and accessories.
There were a lot of good options to choose from, but I decided to go with silver finishes instead of gold to complement the light grey and dark grey wall paint.

I chose two of these mint green chairs with a silver nail-head trim. I also chose a metal drum coffee table with two metal industrial end tables. This rug from Ikea complements the contemporary look.
These pieces can be paired with many different items within my inventory. Just by changing out the pillows, area rug, and sofa can create different scenarios and vignettes. I keep my inventory fresh by choosing pieces that work with a multitude of items and staying with complementary colors. That way, when buyers walk through the house, the colors seem to flow from one room to another.
