Being a home stager, I recommend most houses be staged.  However, some houses buck that trend.  For example, this house is being sold by the personal representative of the former homeowner who passed away.

The representative and other relatives had the daunting task of removing all the furniture and personal items and then distributing them by selling, disposing, or donating.

During my consultation, the representative said there was no money in the budget for repairs, upgrades, updates, or staging.

The house is in a good neighborhood and easily accessible to city amenities.  The mid-century style would appeal to a new group of buyers who are either down-sizing or first-time buyers.  There are hardwood floors underneath the carpet and the kitchen was modernized some years ago. With some paint and new window treatments, the next owner can be quite comfortable here.

The best advice is to clean it from top to bottom and leave it empty.  Except for cleaning supplies, the cost of getting this house ready to list is minimal.  Some people love to do renovations to make it their own.  Call Premiere Home Stagers for advice on your home.  608-345-9396
