Retirement Community Apartment Staging

Due to the Baby Boomer generation being retirement age and perhaps needing some extra help, retirement communities are being built to fill a need. This apartment was one of the last to be sold. The sales director asked Premiere Home Stagers to stage it with the hopes it would sell quickly.

Because of the room shape, it seemed difficult to visualize where to put the furniture. However, it made perfect sense to put the fold-out table near the window rather in the closed-off kitchen. The owner can choose to have meals in the dining room, so a large table is not necessary within the community setting. Socializing with others is preferred.

Master Bedroom

The master bedroom is very spacious, with a large walk-in closet and an adjourning bathroom.

Office

The second bedroom can be set up any way the owner wishes—a guest room, craft room, den, or office.

Full-size kitchen

Some retirement communities do not allow stoves in their units. This unit has a full-size kitchen that includes full-size appliances such as a stove/oven, a microwave, and refrigerator. One can cook for themselves or entertain a guest.
