Property #1

The homeowners of the mid-century modern house Premiere Home Stagers staged last week took some time to get the house ready before staging.  That meant de-cluttering, painting, replacing broken windows, re-surfacing the concrete, and replacing light fixtures.  It paid off.  Within 48 hours of listing, they accepted an offer.  De-staging will be done after any contingencies are removed.

Property #2

The Cape Cod-style house was completely remodeled and added onto.  This area of Madison, WI is a very desirable neighborhood.  Since it is still a sellers’ market, the homeowner was confident in getting a good price.  And within 3 months, the homeowner accepted an offer.  De-staging will occur this week.

Property #3

Within 30 days of moving the model from one retirement community unit to another, the new unit sold.  The managing supervisor is now convinced that staging had an impact on both units that sold quickly.  Prospective buyers need to visualize themselves living in a property.  Plus, when selling retirement units, sometimes it is the adult children who help with the decision-making.  De-staging will be later this week.

A win-win

The goal of all home stagers is to make the properties enticing to all who enter.  Even I am sometimes amazed by how wonderful everything looks.  And if I don’t think it looks “just right,” I return quickly with that extra piece until I am satisfied.  I am pleased that all three properties sold quickly, and so are the owners and/or realtors.  Call Premiere Home Stagers at 608-345-9396
