Premiere Home Stagers was called to consult on a remodeling project. The homeowner knew she wanted a functional kitchen, new paint colors, and new flooring, but did not know where to begin.
Kitchen Before
The wall oven was not functional and because of the small size, a new oven would not work within the same confines as the current cabinetry. The stovetop was not working properly either.
Because the cabinet layout worked and because the rest of the cabinets were in good shape, we decided to change out some of the cabinetry but leave the rest intact.
The homeowner decided to replace all the appliances, plus add a built-in dishwasher, which meant taking out a base unit.
Kitchen Before
When you replace just part of the cabinets, the wood stain will not match. Premiere Home Stagers helped the homeowner choose a color scheme: painted cabinets, linoleum flooring, wall color, countertops, and tile backsplash. We also chose new light fixtures and added under-cabinet lighting.
The new microwave fits perfectly on top of the new wider wall oven. There is even a shelf for cookbooks.
The dishwasher is now built-in and the tile backsplash is stunning against the silver appliances and light gray colored cabinets.
Just a few accessories and this kitchen is ready for a taste test.
