People don’t know that home stagers also provide a service called “Re-Design.” This service is for people who wish to stay in their homes, but need some help with furniture layout, artwork placement, or even help with specifying new items such as countertops or paint colors.
Kitchen Countertops
These homeowners just moved into their house a week ago and knew they wanted to change the countertops. Premiere Home Stagers has experience working with a residential remodeler, and thus has subcontractors who we can refer them to. We suggested a solid surface produce called “Hi-Macs” by LG.
Breezeway
Another area that needed help was this breezeway—situated in between the garage and house. This was a challenging space because there are four doors to work around. One goes into the garage, one for the backyard, one enters into the kitchen, and the fourth enters into the dining room. Premiere Home Stagers recommended an 8×10 all-weather area rug and then move their Ikea Poang chairs here with this table in between them.
Living Room
The living room chairs were repositioned against the inside wall and a contemporary, clean-lined sofa in gray was chosen to go against the window wall. Premiere Home Stagers will return once this sofa is in stock and re-position the furniture and hang artwork.
Family Room
The lower level family room also needed some re-positioning of the furniture. A slip-cover was purchased from Ikea, matching a green easy chair. Even though the TV will be moved to a different space in this room, the TV cable can easily be tucked underneath the baseboard.
