A relative recently moved to a new area due to a job change.  This meant trying to figure out how to position their current furniture into a different house.

This arrangement seemed to work best for the lovely view out the window, the fireplace, and the eventual entertainment built-in.  The high ceilings make this room look more spacious than this photograph.

Master Bedroom Niche

There were a number of unique features in this house.  The master bedroom niche bridges the hallway from the master bedroom.  I replaced this small vase with a tall dark pottery piece.  A tall statuette or 3-D piece of art would also look nice.

The blue vessel sink has a raindrop pattern throughout. It is unique, but the homeowners prefer a white integrated trough-type sink instead.Image result for rectangular vessel sink

This qualifies as an extra bedroom because of the egress window.  Note the stair steps that would guide you safely outside if there was a hazard within.

The homeowner has a lot of space in the basement to configure the office area. I would suggest placing the built-ins in the alcove and the desk facing outward due to the location of electrical outlets. However, there are several choices to try before it feels just right.
