Premiere Home Stagers love working with previous customers because not only do we enjoy them, but we know they were pleased with the services received. This time instead of staging to sell, we were called to make the new abode feel comfortable, cozy, and “just right.” She wanted us to choose which pictures and accessories to use and where to place them.
The accessories the owner chose were nice, but too small for the large expanse of wall above the cabinets.
We noticed she had some metal art pieces, so why not use them above the cabinets.
Since they don’t need to be viewed up close like a painting, and they don’t need to be dusted very often, it’s the perfect choice.
We were not tall enough to hang the lowest art on the wall, so she’ll get some help and send us an updated photo. This art can be seen across the great room and ties in with the metallic trim on the fireplace and mirror.
Certain pieces are sentimental and evoke a particular emotional response, so naturally we wanted to use them.
Vignettes are groupings of items that seem to go together to add interest, texture, and height to a plain surface.
Three pieces of matching art were hung on the back wall to make it more cohesive. A colorful canvas was hung horizontally over the bed to tie all the colors together.
The little house on top of the curio cabinet is the exact same house pictured in the print. The plants add some softness to the hard surfaces of the cabinet and dining table.
