This week I strolled along Milwaukee’s Riverwalk. The city has encouraged this as a scenic destination in several ways. There are riverside restaurants, tours and concerts. The walk itself even has a pedestrian bridge spanning the river.
I enjoyed the art that is strategically placed along both sides.
From the bizarre sculptures that defy easy explanation …
… To the whimsical pieces that make us smile, there is something for everyone.
Metal archways also line the riverwalk and draw the eye. The variety of artistic expression, the beauty of the flowers and the gift of great weather made strolls along Milwaukee’s Riverwalk something I’ll want to do again.
